Confined Space

Confined space entry is considered a high-risk activity by WSBC. Creating the required procedures is specialized work that must be completed by someone deemed qualified (i.e. education, training and experience). Orca Health and Safety’s team can provide a qualified person whose work is proven and has been inspected by WorkSafeBC and third party auditors.
ORCA services include:

  • Program development
  • Inventory and identification of spaces
  • Hazard assessments
  • Entry procedures
  • Rescue plans
  • Confined space standby
  • Confined space rescue services
  • WSBC 9.22 Alternate Procedures Applications
  • Safety by design with the goal to eliminate confined spaces from your worksite
